What To Bring

     Sunrise Retreat has 2 fireplaces inside, one wood burning and one propane.  Five gallon propane bottles are for sale for the LP fireplace for $49/bottle. (Please see purchasing options on the "Book Your Visit"page.  We recommend you bring your own. 

    We provide a full kitchen that includes a two burner cook stove, pots/pans and utensils.  There are two full beds, two twin beds, a futon and a couch.  Firewood, propane for the 3 lanterns and cook stove  are included with your nightly rental. 

      There is an outhouse located outside as there is no plumbing or electricity.

  
    The road is primitive and 4X4 or SUV is recommended. 
 The road is closed in the winter and becomes a hike in ski out location.  The walk in is a quarter mile uphill and snowshoes or snowmobiles are strongly encouraged. The trail will not always be packed.

Extras:

Snow can be melted for dishes and filtered for drinking. 

No dogs allowed in the winter months.
 NO EXCEPTIONS (we don't even take our own dog in the winter!)

There is a generator under the deck to power the vacuum after your stay.

Please leave the yurt in as good or better condition as you found it in.
  Pack it in pack it out!
